Who and what is Art+Play?

Art+Play is a WA based play equipment supplier that collaborates with local artists from all career levels and disciplines to create original and inspired children’s playground equipment.

Our philosophy is to promote and invest in local artists, their creativity, their confidence, and their careers. To give them recognition of their talent through commissions and ongoing percentage of sales. Importantly, the collaboration will offer real project experience and develop an artist’s skill and expertise in public artworks. With our strong focus on the art component, we want to see how our artists can excel their craft to produce something unique and special that people will have an instant reaction to. Where parents will travel to see it and ultimately, for kids to enjoy!

Art+Play offers proprietary play equipment through product ranges that are developed in collaboration with selected artists. This provides designers, specifiers, local government and private clients the ability to select and integrate play equipment into their projects. The artists involved in product range development receive a commission on sale and part proceeds from all sales go towards support of local arts initiatives and the career development of local artists.

Art+Play also offer bespoke services from collaboration with other design professionals on a project basis to holistic project delivery including artist engagement and coordination, public consultation, design development, manufacture and delivery of custom play spaces.
